EDINBURGH FRINGE: Breathe
I never thought I'd fall in love with an acorn!
But it is an oak seedling which takes centre stage in this exquisitely presented story of an acorn's life, as told by the hugely talented Peter Morton and his team. And it's adorable!
With award-winning puppetry, hand-held cameras and live music, Morton celebrates the life of trees by taking us deep into their world through the eyes of an acorn as it experiences its surroundings for the first time.
It's beautifully executed, tender and moving. I will never look at a tree in quite the same way again.
Breathe is at the Pleasance Dome (King Dome), Bristo Square daily at 12 noon until August 18. Tickets on www.edfringe.com, from the Pleasance Dome 10am-11.30pm, or on 0131 556 6550.
